Welcome to the Dream Finders Homes Champions For Child Safety Pro-Am

Support child safety by joining us for the 29th annual Dream Finders Homes Champions for Child Safety Pro-Am Golf Tournament.

This year's event begins with an engaging evening, where guests gather for the Pairings Party and Celebrity Fireside Chat, creating meaningful connections with community leaders, supporters, and special guests. The following day, participants take to the course for a unique opportunity to enjoy a round of golf alongside a professional golfer. We are excited to host our players at Stillwater Golf & Country Club this year. The Golf Course was designed by Master Golf Course Architect Bobby Weed who is well known for projects such as Grove XXIII (owned by Michael Jordan), The Olde Farm Golf Club, Medalist Golf Club, and Ponte Vedra Inn and Club. The 7,000+ yard layout boasts forgiving fairways and a playable Florida landscape which provides a fair challenge from any set of tees.

Not only will you have the chance to enjoy a round of golf with a professional golfer, but you will also be able to support the development and delivery of Monique Burr Foundation prevention education programs in schools, after-school programs and youth sports programs. Since their development, MBF Programs have reached 22 MILLION KIDS, and there are still so many children we need to reach!

A Legacy of Child Abuse Prevention & Advocacy

The Monique Burr Foundation for Children (MBF) is a nonprofit organization located in Jacksonville, FL. MBF was started by Edward E. Burr in 1997 on the one-year anniversary of the death of Monique Burr, his late wife, to continue her legacy of child protection and child advocacy. The organization has a history of child abuse prevention and advocacy; however prevention education is now our exclusive focus. Although our strategies may have changed over the years, our core mission has remained the same – to protect children by providing the best comprehensive, evidence-based prevention education programs.

Champions for Child Safety Award

 

The Champions for Child Safety Award recognizes individuals and corporations for their dedication and commitment to supporting MBF’s mission and the annual Pro-Am. Congratulations to our 2025 Champions for Child Safety Award honorees; Jim Furyk, Professional Golfer and Founder of the Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation, and Mark McCumber, Professional Golfer. Jim Furyk and Mark McCumber were proudly honored in recognition of their continued dedication to supporting the Champions for Child Safety Pro-Am since its inception. From the very beginning, both have stood alongside the Foundation, playing an integral role in the tournament’s success. Their longstanding support, leadership, and passion for protecting children have helped elevate the event year after year, making a lasting impact on the mission of MBF and the countless children we serve.
